IN-HOME PERSONAL TRAINING
How far do you travel for in-home personal training?
I currently offer services in the Highlands Ranch and Littleton area in Colorado. If you are unsure if your location is in this area, please email info@kath-letics.com to check location availability.
What equipment do I need for in-home personal training?
We can work with no equipment, a fully equipped gym, and everything in between. For optimal results, I suggest having a set of relatively heavy dumbbells and a set of relatively light dumbbells at minimum.
VIRTUAL TRAINING
What technology do I need for virtual training?
You will need access to the internet, and a device that has both video and microphone capabilities. Generally, a bigger screen is always better so you can see the trainer clearly. At minimum, a phone will work, but I recommend a tablet, computer/laptop, or television.
What type of video calling service do I need?
We use Zoom as our primary video calling service. If you are unable to use Zoom for your virtual training sessions, please let me know.
Will virtual training be as effective as in-person training?
Absolutely! As long as we have a consistent internet connection and communication, the only different between virtual and in-person is the physical location. I generally recommend having a base knowledge and/or experience with exercise for those interested in virtual training.
1:1 ONLINE TRAINING
What all comes with my customized 1:1 online coaching package?
You'll receive full access to the app to view your personalized workouts guided by me with videos and explanations, view your nutrition plan (if applicable), track your progress, and view your weekly, monthly, and long-term goals. You'll also receive accountability through your weekly check-ins and have access to coach support through the app messaging system.
How quickly do I receive my program?
Your customized program will be available within 48 hours of your purchase, consultation completion, and liability form completion.
Do I need to have access to a gym or fitness equipment?
Your program can be completed with as little or as much equipment as you have access to. If your goal is to build muscle or strength, access to weights is highly recommend.
How long are the programs?
1:1 online coaching programs are on-going until cancelled. Your training program will change every 4-12 weeks based on your goal and adherence.
How does pricing work?
The program is an upfront payment and will recur until a written cancellation request is made to your trainer via app-messaging or email info@kath-letics.com.
KATHLETICS TRAIL
What equipment will I need?
The program is built for barbell + plates, dumbbells, kettlebells, and a bench/box, but all exercises have alternatives listed within the exercise description for bodyweight or limited equipment.
Do I need lifting experience?
No, although lifting experience will help. All exercises have demo videos and explanations to ensure proper form. You can also utilize the group messaging system within the app for form checks from your coach.
Will this be a good program for me even if I'm new to hiking, trail running, or other outdoor adventures?
Absolutely! It's a great idea to follow a resistance training program alongside your outdoor adventures to gain and maintain strength and stability on the trails.
How do I cancel?
Within the app, you can self-cancel. Go to 'My Account', click 'My Purchases', click the three vertical dots at the top right and click 'Cancel Auto-Renew'. If you have any issues with this, please email info@kath-letics.com.
GENERAL
What happens after my program is over?
If you feel confident in your learnings and practices, take the reigns! YOU GOT THIS! If you feel like you need a little more time, we can continue working together until you feel 100% comfortable.
Can you help me with my medical conditions or injuries?
It is not within my scope of practice to diagnose any medical conditions or injuries. It is recommended that you see your doctor before starting any training or nutrition program. Following a resistance training program can strengthen muscles to alleviate discomfort, but it does not replace seeing a physician, physical therapist, or any other medical professional.
Can you provide me a meal plan?
I am not a Registered Dietitian, therefore, it is not within my scope of practice to provide meal plans. As a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, I can provide you with the tools to create healthy habits.
