What technology do I need for virtual training?

You will need access to the internet, and a device that has both video and microphone capabilities. Generally, a bigger screen is always better so you can see the trainer clearly. At minimum, a phone will work, but I recommend a tablet, computer/laptop, or television.

What type of video calling service should I use?

Zoom is preferred, but we can definitely work with FaceTime, Skype, or any other video calling service.

Will virtual training be as effective as in-person training?

Absolutely! As long as we have a consistent internet connection and communication, the only different between virtual and in-person is the physical location.



I'm not sure whether to get 1:1 online coaching or get the app to use on my own, what do you suggest?

If you struggle to get to the gym on your own, have a hard time with nutrition, or aren't sure what your goals are, I'd recommend investing in 1:1 coaching. If you make it to the gym easily, have a general understanding of nutrition, and have clear goals in mind, but just need structure to your workouts, I'd suggest investing in the app-only program to do on your own.


Do I have to choose both 1:1 online training and nutrition coaching? What if I only want help with one of them?

You can choose whether you'd like to receive training only, nutrition coaching only, or both training and nutrition coaching. It's completely up to you and your goals!

What all comes with my customized 1:1 online coaching package?

You'll receive full access to the app to view your personalized workouts guided by me with videos and explanations, view your nutrition plan, track your progress, view your weekly, monthly, and long-term goals, and review check-in debriefings. You'll also receive accountability through your weekly check-ins and have access to support at anytime through the app messaging system.

How quickly do I receive my program?

Your customized program will be available within 48 hours of your purchase. Your app-only program will be available within 48 hours of your purchase.

Do I need to have access to a gym or fitness equipment?

Both the 1:1 online coaching and app-only programs have options based on what equipment you have access to. The programs can be completed with body weight, a few weights, or a fully equipped gym. If your goal is to build muscle or strength, access to weights is highly recommend.

How long are the programs?

1:1 online coaching programs start with a 3-month commitment and can be extended as long as necessary. App-only programs have a minimum commitment of a 1-month.

How does pricing work?

For 1:1 coaching, you will pay for your program upfront based on the package you chose during your initial consultation. For app-only programs, you will pay month-to-month for the subscription.


What happens after my program is over?

If you feel confident in your learnings and practices, take the reigns! YOU GOT THIS! If you feel like you need a little more time, we can continue working together until you feel 100% comfortable.

Can you help me with my medical conditions or injuries?

It is not within my scope of practice to diagnose any medical conditions or injuries. It is recommended that you see your doctor before starting any training or nutrition program. Following a resistance training program can strengthen muscles to alleviate discomfort, but it does not replace seeing a physician or physical therapist. 

Can you provide me a meal plan?

I am not a Registered Dietitian, therefore, it is not within my scope of practice to provide meal plans. Although, I can provide you with the tools to create healthy habits.

Do you offer in-person personal training?

At this time, KATHLETICS is not offering in-person personal training due to COVID-19. Feel free to reach out and we can further discuss options or I can lead you to another expert in your area who is accepting in-person clients.
