IN-HOME PERSONAL TRAINING

How far do you travel for in-home personal training?

I currently offer in-home personal training services in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. If you are unsure if your location is in this area, please email info@kath-letics.com to check location availability.

 

What equipment do I need for in-home personal training?

We can work with no equipment, a fully equipped gym, and everything in between. For optimal results, I suggest having a set of relatively heavy dumbbells and a set of relatively light dumbbells at minimum.

How do I get started?

Please schedule your complimentary consultation to see if we're a good fit.

When do I get access to the program?

Once you have purchased your membership and completed all onboarding materials (ABC Trainerize app profile, consultation form, liability form, and movement assessment), you can expect to get access to your program within 48 business hours.

Is there a commitment?

Yes, a 3-month commitment is required, then you can cancel at anytime.

When will I be charged?

Your payment must be set up for the day before your first session. Your payment will recur bi-weekly until cancelled.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

After completing your 3-month commitment, you will need to notify Katharine in writing via in-app messaging or email at info@kath-letics.com to cancel your recurring payments.

Do I need prior lifting experience?

No, prior lifting experience is not required to be a in-home training client.

How long do the workouts last?

In-home training sessions are 45 minutes.

Can I switch to a different training frequency?

Yes, even within the 3-month commitment, you can switch your training frequency. Training frequency options are 1-3x/week.

Can I switch to a different program?

After completing your 3-month commitment, you can switch to one of our online or templated programs.

VIRTUAL TRAINING

What technology do I need for virtual training?

You will need access to the internet, and a device that has both video and microphone capabilities. Generally, a bigger screen is always better so you can see the trainer clearly. At minimum, a phone will work, but I recommend a tablet, computer/laptop, or television.

What type of video calling service do I need?

We use Zoom as our primary video calling service.

Will virtual training be as effective as in-person training?

Absolutely! As long as we have a consistent internet connection and communication, the only different between virtual and in-person is the physical location.

1:1 ONLINE TRAINING

How quickly do I receive my program?

Your customized program will be available within 48 hours after you complete your purchase, consultation form, onboarding materials, movement assessment video, and liability waiver.

Is there a commitment?

Yes, a 3-month commitment is required, then you can cancel at anytime.

How long are the programs?

1:1 online coaching programs are recurring until cancelled. Your training program will change every 4-8 weeks based on your goals and adherence.

When will I be charged?

The day you sign up. Your payment will recur monthly on that same date until cancelled. For example, if you sign up on the 3rd, that's your payment date. If you sign up on the last day of the month, be it the 28th of February or 31st of July, the last day of the month is your payment date.

What if I need to cancel?

After completing your 3-month commitment, you can self-cancel by going to the web version of ABC Trainerize. Sign in and navigate to My Purchases. Click the product’s drop down and select Cancel Auto-renew. If you have any issues, please email info@kath-letics.com.

What equipment will I need?

Each program is created based on the equipment you have access to and have listed in your consultation form. All exercises have modifications and equipment alternatives listed within the exercise description, as well.

Do I need lifting experience?

I recommend 3+ months of basic lifting experience. Although, all exercises have demo videos and explanations. Plus, you can utilize the app-messaging feature within ABC Trainerize to receive exercise form checks from your coach.

How long do the workouts last?

The duration of resistance training workouts are programmed based on the schedule you provide in your consultation form. Cardio workouts will vary based on you, your goals, and your schedule, as well.

Can I switch to a different program?

You bet! You will need to cancel your current membership and purchase your new membership.

KATHLETICS TRAIL

When does KATHLETICS Trail start?

KATHLETICS Trail is an ongoing program that you can join at any time. Whether you start on the first of the month or a random Tuesday, you will hop right into the current week of programming that all other KATHLETICS Trail members are doing.

When do I get access to the program?

Once you have purchased your membership and completed all onboarding materials (ABC Trainerize app profile, consultation form, and liability form), you can expect to get access to your program within 48 business hours.

When will I be charged?

The day you sign up. Your payment will recur monthly (or whichever multi-month option you chose) on that same date until cancelled. For example, if you sign up on the 3rd, that's your payment date. If you sign up on the last day of the month, be it the 28th of February or 31st of July, the last day of the month is your payment date.

What if I need to cancel?

I recommend 6+ months of basic lifting experience. Although, all exercises have demo videos and explanations. Plus, you can utilize the app-messaging feature within ABC Trainerize to receive exercise form checks from your coach.

How long do the workouts last?

Resistance training workouts are programmed for ~45 minutes. It could be longer based on your warm-up and cool down routine. Cardio workouts will vary based on you and your goals. Each cardio workout has a suggested range for duration. Use that as guidance. But, of course, adjust as needed based on your goals and training availability.

Will this be a good program for me even if I'm new to hiking, trail running, or other outdoor adventures?

Absolutely! It's a great idea to follow a resistance training program alongside your outdoor adventures to gain and maintain strength and stability on the trails. All exercise descriptions offer various modifications and modalities if you need to make any adjustments along the way.

Can I switch to a different program?

You bet! You will need to cancel your current membership and purchase your new membership.

GENERAL

What kinds of movements will I see in my program?

Here at KATHLETICS, we include the basics of squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry. Depending on the program you chose or the goals you have shared, you will likely see anti-rotation and rotation exercises, isolation work, and plyometric and power movements.

What happens after my program is over?

If you feel confident in your learnings and practices, take the reigns! YOU GOT THIS! If you feel like you need a little more time, we can continue working together until you feel 100% comfortable.

Can you help me with my medical conditions or injuries?

It is not within my scope of practice to diagnose any medical conditions or injuries. It is recommended that you see your doctor before starting any training or nutrition program. Following a resistance training program can strengthen muscles, but it does not replace seeing a physician, physical therapist, or any other medical professional. 

Can you provide me a meal plan?

I am not a Registered Dietitian, therefore, it is not within my scope of practice to provide meal plans. As a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, I can provide you with the tools to create healthy habits.
