Tips for Bulgarian Split Squats

I'm fully aware that Bulgarian Splits Squats is everyone's favorite exercise. You see it on your programming and truly jump for joy. [Read with extreme sarcasm.] As you and I both know, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. At least that's what we're told, right? Bulgarian Split Squats have many benefits, which is why they are often included in my training programs. BSS benefits include: - Single-leg stability - Strengthen your quads, glutes, and hip flexors (all things hips and knees) - Core stability - Challenge your heart rate/endurance View the video below with sound on for set-up tips.


Main tips: 1. Toes on the bench first. 2. Drop your knee down to the ground to find the proper distance between your feet. 3. Adjust your planted foot as needed to get an effective angle. 4. Tuck your hips to keep your abs engaged. Try out these steps next time!
