I don't know what it is this season, but I am DIGGIN' pomegranates.
You probably could guess that, though, considering the Thanksgiving recipe that I shared AND this recipe below include arils.
Now it's time for a festive drink.
As you may already know, I'm not huge into "doing alcohol", as Michael Scott would say.
But, I will give a brief cheer around the holidays.
This recipe comes from one of my favorite chefs, Half Baked Harvest. I highly recommend checking out her recipes.
Grab 7 of your closest friends (or 2, depending on who your friends are 🤪) as this recipe serves 8.
Pomegranate Champagne Punch
Ingredients:
1 cup mint leaves
1 cup pomegranate juice
Juice from 2 oranges
8 oz orange liquor
1-2 cans of ginger beer
1 bottle of champagne, chilled
Pomegranate arils for garnish
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and chill for 1 hour.
2. Serve in champagne glasses. Top with ginger beer, if desired, and champagne.
