
Happy New Year, all!
A fresh start, a clean slate, or whatever you may call it, is exactly how I am beginning my 2017. Though, I will keep my personal goals to myself, the running theme of them start and end with becoming a better version of ME. A few of the questions I asked myself when deciding what my goals were included, what makes me feel fulfilled? Where do I want to be one year from now? What part of the process is currently working? What part of the process isn't working and what can I do to change it?
I believe many people tend to fall off the wagon, whether their goals are fitness related or not, due to the lack of having a system in line to keep themselves in check. How can you tell what is working if you don't have progress checks throughout the year? I find it's most beneficial to set weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly goals to assure you are on the right track to your final. This can also assist you in finding where you need to adjust.
How am I organizing my progress checks? I have started a new Instagram account, @kathletics_, that is dedicated specifically to my health & fitness goals. The sole purpose of this account is to hold myself accountable, but I also hope that I can motivate or influence others along the way. What are your goals for 2017?
